Before a CSV import

Treat Backup Now as a checklist item, the same way you treat a staging theme. Pin the crawl if you are on trial.

Checklist

  1. Open the Backuply app. Confirm you are entitled (trial or paid).
  2. Click Backup Now. Check Keep as restore point. Label it, for example Pre-import 2026-08-31.
  3. Wait for the crawl to complete. Restore and export stay disabled until then.
  4. Run the CSV import in the platform.
  5. If you need undo: View Versions on affected products, or Advanced Restore Products as of the pin.

FAQ

The import created extra products. Will restore delete them?

No. Advanced Restore does not delete items created after the selected date. Remove extras in the platform or contact support for a By Request restore discussion.
