What information do we collect?

Personal information you disclose to us

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide, such as when you:

  • Register for an account or install a Backuply app.
  • Connect an ecommerce store through OAuth or platform integrations.

Personal information may include:

Store and backup data

To provide backup and restore, we process store objects from your connected store, such as product catalogs, categories, customers and addresses, orders as stored JSON, pages, and related metadata. This data is used to build version history and to restore selected items when you request it. We do not store payment instruments.

Usage data

We collect technical data such as IP address, browser type, device details, and log data when you use our website or apps. We also record backup and restore job status needed to operate the Vault.

  • Your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
